All travellers must have adequate travel insurance to participate. Sing The Camino will not be responsible for any loss, damage, theft or injury incurred. Sing the Camino reserves the right to exclude or remove any person from any tour. Your 20% deposit is non-refundable, unless cancellation is made more than 9 calendar months before departure, in which case a $200.00 cancellation fee will apply, and the remainder will be refunded. You will be sent an invoice for the outstanding 80% balance to be paid by direct transfer. Full payment must be received 91 days prior to tour commencement date. Cancellations made by you within 58 days prior to tour commencement date are subject to a 40% cancellation fee. Cancellations made by you within 30 days prior to tour commencement date are subject to a 60% cancellation fee. Cancellations made by you within 14 days prior to tour commencement date are non-refundable.
If we cancel your trip due to circumstances outside our control, you can transfer to an alternative departure date, or alternatively receive a refund less any unrecoverable costs.
The number of participants with Sing The Camino is strictly limited. In order to secure your place we recommend you pay your deposit as soon as possible. In the event of Sing the Camino being cancelled due to insufficient numbers, you would be notified and 100% of all money paid would be refunded. Travel insurance is required to participate on a Sing The Camino tour and a copy of your policy must be provided to Sing The Camino prior to tour commencement. We strongly recommend that you organise your travel insurance at the time of booking with Sing The Camino as cancellation fees will apply in the event that you are unable to participate. A Waiver Form must be signed by all Sing The Camino participants, which will be sent to you after paying your deposit. If you disagree with any of the conditions on the Waiver Form you will not be able to participate and your deposit will be refunded, provided you notify Sing the Camino within 72 hours of receiving the Waiver Form.
Prices are based on costs and exchange rates applicable at the time of website publication. Sing the Camino reserves the right to adjust prices whether or not you have already made full payment. We will do everything within our control not to adjust prices and will generally only amend prices in the event of marked fluctuations in exchange rates or other operating costs on which prices are based.
Cancellations due to Force Majeure Events
We reserve the right to cancel any trip prior to departure due to natural disasters, political instability, terrorism, disease outbreak, extreme weather or any other event outside our control that would make it dangerous or not viable for the trip to begin or continue (Force Majeure). In such a case, we will do our best to postpone the trip or provide you with an alternative itinerary.
In these Booking Terms and Conditions, the term Force Majeure means an event or events beyond our control and which we could not have reasonably prevented, and includes but is not limited to: (a) natural disasters (including not limited to flooding, fire, earthquake, landslide, volcanic eruption), adverse weather conditions (including hurricane or cyclone), high or low water levels; (b) war, armed conflict, industrial dispute, civil strife, terrorist activity or the threat of such acts; epidemic, pandemic; (d) any new or change in law, order, decree, rule or regulation of any government authority (including travel advisories and restrictions).
Force Majeure – Prior to travel
If in our reasonable opinion we consider that your travel arrangements cannot safely or lawfully proceed due to a Force Majeure Event then we at our discretion may elect to:
Force Majeure – During travel
If due to Force Majeure we cancel travel arrangements after your trip has commenced, we will provide you with a refund of recoverable third-party costs for cancelled travel arrangements only.
Force Majeure – General
If we provide you with any alternative services or assistance where travel arrangements are cancelled or rescheduled due to Force Majeure, then you agree the amount to be refunded to you will be reduced by the value of these services already expended by Sing the Camino.
You acknowledge that the terms in this section are reasonably necessary to protect our legitimate business interests.
We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance that adequately responds to cancellation and rescheduling risks associated with Force Majeure events.
